Sydney Lanier is a student of Irish literature headed to Queen’s University Belfast. While in Northern Ireland, she will pursue a PhD in Irish Studies. In her spare time, she enjoys watching American football, packing and unpacking regularly, and maintaining her own personal zoo. She is excited for the adventure that crossing the pond represents.

Yasmin Rahmani
I’m a researcher, graphic and web designer, and as of May a graduate of Georgia State University headed to Spain to investigate cell-based treatment options for spinal cord injuries. I’m a proud Iranian, a magnet for stray animals, a trial-and-error cook, passionate about my research and my business, in a love-hate relationship with running, and shamelessly addicted to Nutella. Chronic multi-tasking is what I do best and my advice to everyone: learn a little bit about everything.

Michael R. Trice
Michael Trice hopes this blog idea pans out so that the world can get a glimpse of the many voices found in one Fulbright year across the globe. His own year in the United Kingdom will be spent at the Centre for Digital Citizenship in Leeds.
